"ok well ive had these boots since september 27, 08 and they havent worn out a bit. theyre very strong, sturdy, and when you first get them it takes about a week to get them broken into. youll start to loose layers of skin and it will create a blister on the back of your ankle but dont worry when this happens just dont wear them and wait for it to scab over then it will never happen again beleive me. (also you could put a band aid over it if its really irritating) provides amazing support for your ankle, its nearly immpossible to break/sprain your ankle in these boots. i must admit though do not fall asleep with these on! they weigh somthing like 3 pounds each and i made this mistake one time. my boots were hanging off my bead and 3 pounds feels like 300 after 4 hours asleep. you will ache in the morning. and also i must tell you that walking or hiking in these boots will cause you to be sore. i wouldnt suggest walking 5 miles in these things.. ive made that mistake too. very good for moshing though and the toe of the boot is so strong that you can hardly feel anything its perferct for moshing or stomping somthing/someone. buy these boots, you wont regret it. and also just a side note... these can be a tad annoying to put on/take off due to the 14 eyes so be prepared."
