Pros: Durable, comfortable
"I bought a similar style of shoe six years ago at Journeys. It didn't have the cushioned rim. Anyway, after wearing them daily for six years, these shoes still haven't worn much. However, I need to buy a new pair because my dog (yellow lab) chewed on them today. Get the balsam. It will keep them looking new. It was the best money I ever spent on shoes. If my dog didn't eat them, I'd be wearing them for another six years!"

"In High School I thought that Doc's were just a trend, the good looking, over priced shoes that the rich kids wore. But now I have had my Docs for a year, and just bought a second pair of the same kind in a different color! My Docs are so comfortable I needed black ones so that I could wear my Docs with black. I recomend Docs to anyone!"

"Bought these shoes for a male friend and you'd think I bought him a major investment. I have several pairs of Doc Martens myself and just wanted to share the experience. He wears them with pride and goes on and on how well they broke in and how comfortable they are. Maybe they were a major investment - they wear forever! Don't our feet deserve the best?"
